Florida utilizes electronic titles. If your title is electronic, you will need to obtain a physical copy through the MyDMV portal prior to pickup.

If the vehicle was last titled in Florida

  1. Download and fill out the Florida Duplicate Title Application
  2. Submit the application
    1. Online
      1. Time frame: 3-4 weeks
      2. Cost to obtain: $75.25-$78.25 (varies based on county)
    2. In person at the Department of Motor Vehicles
      1. Time frame: 3-4 weeks (Fast Title available for a $10 fee)

If the vehicle was last titled outside of Florida

The registered titled owner(s) of the vehicle must apply for a duplicate title through the state in which the vehicle was last titled.
