Massachusetts utilizes electronic titles. If your title is electronic, you will need to obtain a physical copy prior to pickup.

If the vehicle was last titled in Massachusetts

  1. Fill out the form for the Massachusetts Duplicate Title Application
  2. Submit the application

      2. Cost to obtain: $25
    2. In person at the Registry of Motor Vehicles
      1. Time frame: 7-10 business days
      2. Cost to obtain: $25
    3. By mailing the application to:

If the vehicle was last titled outside of Massachusetts

The registered titled owner(s) of the vehicle must apply for a duplicate title through the state in which the vehicle was last titled.
