If the vehicle was last titled in Maryland

  1. Download and fill out the Maryland Duplicate Title Application
    1. Online at the Motor Vehicle Administration
      1. Time frame: 5-7 business days
      2. Cost to obtain: $40 (expedited shipping available for an additional $17.13)
    2. In person at the Motor Vehicle Administration

    3. By mailing the application to:

If the vehicle was last titled outside of Maryland

The registered titled owner(s) of the vehicle must apply for a duplicate title through the state in which the vehicle was last titled.
