Nebraska utilizes electronic titles. If your title is electronic, you will need to obtain a physical copy prior to pickup.

If the vehicle was last titled in Nebraska

  1. Download and fill out the Nebraska Duplicate Title Application
  2. Submit the application
    1. In person at the County Treasurer's Office
      1. Time frame: Same day
      2. Cost to obtain: $14
    2. By mailing the application to the County Treasurer's Office
      1. Time frame: 14 days
      2. Cost to obtain: $14

If the vehicle was last titled outside of Nebraska

The registered titled owner(s) of the vehicle must apply for a duplicate title through the state in which the vehicle was last titled.
