Pennsylvania utilizes electronic titles. If your title is electronic, you will need to obtain a physical copy prior to pickup.

If the vehicle was last titled in Pennsylvania

  1. Download and fill out the Pennsylvania Duplicate Title Application
  2. Submit the application
    1. In person at:
      Pennsylvania Department Of Transportation
      1101 South Front Street
      Harrisburg, PA 17104
      1. Time frame: Same day
      2. Cost to obtain: $72
    2. By mailing the application to:
      PA Department of Transportation
      Bureau of Motor Vehicles
      P.O. Box 68593
      Harrisburg, PA 17106-8593
      1. Time frame: 4-6 weeks
      2. Cost to obtain: $72

If the vehicle was last titled outside of Pennsylvania

The registered titled owner(s) of the vehicle must apply for a duplicate title through the state in which the vehicle was last titled.
